Name: Msg. Julia Raye
Weight: 122 lbs
Julia is a master sergeant in the 2nd infantry division, 105th regiment C company "Battering Rams", and she loves to remind people of it. She pulls rank whenever she can (since he's the only one around, just to the Kid). I'd be lying if i said she couldn't be a real bitch at times, but when shit goes down, there's nobody you'd rather have on your side. It doesn't matter how she feels about you. She's a soldier and she understands your lives are in each other's hands. Also, being a soldier, she's of the same opinion as me (shoot em before they get too close), and she won't lose any sleep over it. "Fuck em'. They shouldn't have been there; drop them and move on." She's got the vocabulary of a drunken sailor, and doesn't give a damn weather or not you think it's lady-like. Not the girl (or friend) you'd want to bring home to meet your parents. Despite all this, she can be real friendly at times as well (but still with the same vocabulary).
In case you didn't know, Julia isn't from our world, so she doesn't know any of our actors, musicians, culture, or religions. It's a miracle she's even speaking English. That being said, her culture isn't so far off from ours. There are just minor differences like socialism, an oligarchy government and mandatory government service (not necessarily military).
-SSM8-A2. It's chambered in .308 (battle rifle), has a 40 round high cap magazine, and has an undermount laser guided RPG launcher (which either locks on to where the aimer was pointed upon firing, or as a secondary is a laser tracking missile). It's 30 inches long from barrel to stock (not including the RPG launcher)
-KR23 .45. A standard issue .45 caliber pistol. It has a 12 round magazine (13 with one in the chamber).
-C38 frag grenades. Self explanatory.
-Machete. 24" long and really sharp, but still just a machete.
-Toothpick. What she believes was a humorous name for her combat knife.
-Exo-muscle suit. (she never wears one in her respective story, but she's more than her outfit and abilities). It amplifies her physical abilities to 100% of her potential. Everybody subconsciously restrains themselves to prevent self injury. The suit connects directly to the nervous system and compensates for that limitation by not only increasing the user's strength, but also by providing protection. It has kinetic buffers and light armor plating (capable of stopping most pistol rounds and small caliber rifle rounds, like the 5.56 at long range.) The best example i can give is... you know how it'll take like 6 or 8 cops to subdue some skinny little junkie? Well she's the junkie, without the addiction.
The power of Badass:
Julia possesses the power of badass, which lets her do kickass moves and say just about anything she damn well pleases. Most importantly, it ensures that she looks fucking awesome while doing whatever she's doing. This includes cursing at her opponents (done often if she's not sneaking around), shooting somebody in the back (best place to attack from), fighting dirty (pulling hair, gouging eyes, fish hooking (mouth and nose), choking, kicking opponents while they're down, bringing a knife to a fist fight, bringing a gun to a knife fight, bringing a rocket launcher to a gun fight, laughing when somebody makes a stupid mistake while fighting against her (like getting distracted, not finishing her off and letting her gain the upper hand, trying to look cool, getting flanked by her), and kicks to the crotch (against both men and women).
(Abilities within Badassery)
-Acrobatics. Before her mandatory service, Julia was a gymnast. As such, she can easily navigate any environment, do flips and tumbles, minimize damage from long falls (the Exo-muscle suit helps with that too) so on and so forth. She also can run really fast. Not away... towards, around and after YOU, the artist (if you're one of the runners lol)
-Combat training. She's exceptional at close quarters combat and melee fighting (with the aid of acrobatics and Badass), but only a mediocre shot (so far as soldiers are concerned). Like any good soldier, she aims center mass and fires in short controlled bursts while AIMING DOWN THE SIGHTS. Being that she's got a battle rifle, and a relatively light one at that, she'll rarely take advantage of it's auto fire capabilities.
-Resilience and general toughness. When she fights, she's usually got enough adrenaline running through her that she doesn't always react to the effects of wounds. But then, most people don't get killed instantly by anything, so make sure you finish her off, cause she will certainly try to finish you off.
Julia's unit was tasked with ----------------- and --------------- ----------------- in ----------------- area of engagement. She's got a lot of combat experience against conventional enemies. Conventional enemies are people with solid bodies, standard weapons like swords and guns (and airplanes... i saw you, with the fighter jet...), and no overly extraordinary abilities. She's really good at fighting those kinds of people. On the other hand, if it's not human, or if it's got wings, horns, magic, elemental powers, or anything of the sort, her only solution is shoot it. "If gun don't work, use more gun."
She's a rusher. Yes, she wants to kill you from a far, but most soldiers want to kill you from a far too. A very aggressive forward moving opponent throws gunslingers off, and she knows that. With proper covering/suppressing fire, and her really fast running speed, she can easily get up close, around and behind enemies. But it's really about knowing your opponent. If she sees the enemy has a sword, or just bare fists, she's staying back and firing those short controlled bursts we spoke about earlier.
Of all my characters, she's the one most likely to kill (or try to) you and your characters. If you didn't notice, she doesn't have any less than lethal weapons. If you twitch, you don't get stunned or knocked out, you get dead. When she shoots somebody, she stays back and shoots em a couple more times while they're down (from a far) to make sure they don't get back up. She's seen enough people get up from gunshot wounds to be dumb enough to walk up on a seemingly dead body.
Strengths: Combat experience, acrobatics, fast runner, decent shot, close combat, intelligent, light armor. Opponents are not people, they're targets.
Weaknesses: she's human. If it can kill a human, it can kill her. piercing attacks (armor piercing rounds, stabbings), sometimes too aggressive. Opponents are not people, they're targets.
Likes: Rest, uneventful days, parties, crowds (more like a team to back her up), grenades, people, happy people (although her best friend is a real stick in the mud) beer
Hates: challenges, fighting (seriously, only newbies and crazy people like war), intelligent enemies, magic, attack dogs (and other such combat creatures), assholes (but she'll get used to me eventually), incompetence
Julia gets irritated by hidden attacks. Take a shot at her, run and hide, take another shot. That sort of thing will get on her nerves. At that point, you'd better not get caught.
