Description

i probably wrote too much....

Name: Dove
Age: 5 months (service time)
Weight: 280 lbs
Height: 5'6"

Official Description:
The latest medium weight combat frame from Indigo Industries. The 2291 is an android designed for unconventional government service. It acts as an aid to police, urban military and covert units.

Personality:
While yes, she is a robot, she was also given an artificial intelligence. Don't worry, she's not out to kill all the humans and free her race. She has a job, friends (many of them are human) and a home (it's a really small room). She's polite and kind, and eager to make her team happy. Granted, she's not going to go out of her way to do this, but she is willing to make minor changes to help this along. "The key to a productive team is a happy team." Her personality isn't something that was just programmed into her. It's the result of her experiences during her test phase (it's like android academy). Being a robot, she has an extensive database with entire archives on human knowledge and history. In that sense, she's very wise. On the other hand, she's only been interacting with the public for five months, and only been alive for a year longer. She's like a child with super strength and knowledge. She sometimes talks like she's looking down on people. She uses the phrase "silly little humans" a lot, but she doesn't mean it how it sounds. There's no offense intended by it, and she respects humans for all their ingenuity and diversity, and especially for creating her, but she does find them to be rather frail. Their weakness saddens her (really).

Weapons:
-N-28 "Buzz Kill". It's that goofy looking sword thing. Pull the switch and the "blade" comes out, like a switchblade. Only the blade isn't sharp. It's more like a file. When active, it vibrates at 40,000 RPM. If i had to compare it's function to anything, it's like a chainsaw, without the chain. It can saw through just about anything, but it's primary use is cutting through obstacles, armor (like tanks and stuff), shields, and other robots. It's not so good against the meat sacks she'll be coming across for the most part. "They're not solid enough, and they wriggle around too much when you open them up."
-PSE glove. It's a shield emitter. It's got two primary modes of operation, and a secondary function.
1.) It's first operation is the sphere shield. It basically defends against attacks from all directions. It only defends against high velocity attacks, and only from one angle at a time. Think of it as a pong paddle. It can block any high velocity or energy attack from that direction, so long as they fall within its reach. The cut off isn't instantaneous. It sorta fades in strength as you get further from the central area. Also, continuous attacks, or a streaming attack can overload the emitter, at which point it will shut down and recharge.
2.) Second operation is a standard energy shield. It's basically the entire sphere concentrated into a single circle with an 18 inch diameter. It will block any physical attack, acting as a solid mass. The concentration makes it more powerful, but it will still overload if subjected to a heavy enough attack, or enough attacks in rapid succession. Just be prepared to attack it a lot.
2F) It's secondary function is a single directional pulse burst. It's basically an intentional overload of the shield by concentrating all it's energy and force in a single direction. It has a range of 20 feet, and unlike most weapons, it's impact is strongest at its maximum range, and gradually gets weaker the closer to her you are. The attack is equivalent to all the damage the shield can potentially absorb before overloading. Imagine getting hit by a cinder block flying at the speed of light. Yeah. That's about right. The recharge period for this is 60 seconds (or more, depending on how depleted the shield was before it was used). In addition, repeated use of this attack will damage the integrity of the shield, thus making the attack weaker with each following use. As a result, it's used as rarely as possible.
-LF81. That cute little drone that follows her around. It's directly connected to her systems, so she has complete control over it. It has a mounted laser. The laser isn't your standard red blast like starwars. It's a continuous beam, and you can't see it. What you can see is the air around it catching fire. It can't be used around allies cause it'll fry them, so its use is very limited. The drone however is like a third eye for her (although i wouldn't call what it does, and what she does, "seeing") and is often used for recon. The drone can also lift 2000 lbs (yeah, that's right, two thousand, like an elevator). It's got a little arm which can extend to pick up loads. She likes to use it to fly around. Lazy little robot pffft.
-Herself. Yeah. While she has some pretty gadgets, she's primarily a fist fighter.

Abilities:
-Teleportation cores. They (unlike her other weapons) are built into her body. Each core teleports a radius of 6-12 inches (12 at maximum output and range). Anything within that radius goes with her, and nothing beyond it. So if you're grabbing her, and she decides to jump, there goes your hand (and some of your forearm). But relax, she doesn't do this too often. Sure, she can do multiple jumps one after the other, but they're all short range (like 10-20 feet for combat jumps) and too many jumps will overheat the cores. When at critical levels (after 6 or 7 jumps) the next jump will lead to nothing. In other words, she will simply disappear from existence. As in gone. Buh-bye. A big jump (maximum 1 mile) will overheat the cores instantly. A jump like that will take hours to recharge as well, as opposed to the little jumps which take 1-5 minutes to recover from. Teleported material will continue moving at it's previous velocity, in the same direction. She's got a few extras in the pouch on her belt. She attaches them to the drone, the Buzz Kill, and up to four other items she might want to take with her. So yeah, if she sees something she likes, she'll put one of these on it (it needs to be smaller than the maximum radius) and hide it. Individually their range is much greater than all together.
-Super strength. Not really (for a robot), but she can punch harder, jump higher, run faster, and react quicker than any human. She can't lift a car, but you'd better believe she can rip it apart (given enough time).
-Combat database. She doesn't know martial arts. That's for "silly little humans with their inability to calculate optimal trajectory and force accurately". She basically just runs calculations at lightning speed on incoming and outgoing attacks to find and achieve the position that will both allow her to dodge and strike back. Her sensors can only detect what's within the shield sphere's radius, so no dodging bullets. She also knows how to achieve maximum efficiency for any weapon or item in her database, and she can scan and register simple weapons by being in close proximity to them. Magic or complex mechanical weapons require dissection and close study before registry into her database.
-Minor changes. I mentioned earlier that she's willing to make minor changes to make people happy. Well those include changing her hair color and hair length, her vocal patterns and pitch (she can imitate any voice and accent), the light color of her eyes and the light shape (instead of a circle, she could make it a square, or a star, or a triangle. She thinks stars are cute, but most people find them creepy.)
-Environment tracking. Her eyes don't really see things. I've hinted at this before. What they do is register her environment. She knows exactly what's in front and around her (range of 180 degrees). Optic camouflage, or invisibility don't work unless you become physically untouchable when invisible. No amount of camouflage will hide you from her sight. It's the same with every one of her senses. She knows when there's sound, and can distinguish between pitches, but she doesn't hear. She knows what's touching her, and where, but she doesn't feel it.
-Target marking. The primary user (me) can input a specific target in her system.
-Heat resistance. Yeah, robots don't get burned. Her laser will melt right through her, but any fire needs to be hotter than the blazes of hell to do real damage to her. On the other hand, extreme heat can overload her weapons (specifically the teleportation cores and the PSE glove) and make them useless.
-Shield plating. Her frame is solid titanium. lol, not as soft as she looks. (btw, the skin is synthetic, kinda like the terminator)

Fighting Style:
You heard it. Fist fighting, maybe some kicks. She's very fond of throwing opponents. Most people seem to have trouble when lifted into the air, so she uses this to her advantage a lot. She's a brawler in it's purest form. No fancy tactics. The shield is there so she can rush in without worrying about damage. Other than throws (seriously, like she's throwing a baseball, only the ball is you), she's likes ripping. Grab something and pull. Arms, legs, fingers, skin, a face... you name it. If it can be grabbed, it can be ripped, and she will go for it. Look out if you have long hair. In extreme situations she will grab somebody and teleport away with a part of them, but only for the tough as nails opponents.

Strengths: Robot (no need for air, food, or comfort), super strength, speed, agility, intelligence, reflexes, fire resistant, armor plating. Programming code. Yeah, for you hackers out there... Try hacking into a system that doesn't even use letters and numbers for code. No mind reading a computer system either.
Cute (yeah, that might slow somebody down, but she will fucking kill you)

Weaknesses: ok... there are a lot.
-Blunt impacts. While she's strong against piercing attacks and blades, strong forces can bend and break her. Strong enough attacks can obliterate her.
-Electricity. She can absorb and re-purpose small amounts of electricity, but large shocks will short her out.
-Combat database. While she has an extensive database of weapons and combat techniques, she's got no data on new techniques and weapons, and has to rely solely on her calculations to counter them
-Tracking system. It's probably her biggest weakness in a tournament like this. She can easily register robots and creatures as enemies, but mystical beings that are technically dead register as corpses to her. What does this mean? It means vampires, demons, angels, zombies, golems, colosi, bodyless entitiesand other creatures who technically aren't alive are seen as dead bodies to her. When they get up and move around, she gets really, REALLY confused because corpses shouldn't move. If you're having trouble understanding what that's like, good. You're starting to feel like she does. She's programmed not to waste time attacking dead bodies, but also to defend herself against attacks. Mythical creatures like that fall into a gap in her programming which causes a border state of confusion close to the level of a computer freezing. To counter this, the primary user (that's me :D) needs to input new target data for her to properly attack the opponent.
-Fire can overheat her weapons
-Weapons can overload
-Maximum output. This one is special. Sure she can outdo humans and other creatures with ease, but she puts out 100% and no more. there's that saying 110%... she doesn't have that. There's no overcoming the pain, final rallies, heroic second risings. Once she's broken, she's broken till somebody comes around and fixes her.
-Predictable attacks. She uses the most effective attack first, and again and again until it doesn't work anymore. "Don't fix what ain't broke."

Likes: People, conversations, learning, fighting, showing off, making people happy (some people), the primary user (part of her programming code), winning, strange things, kittens (more like she's curious how people can find them cute... same for puppies... they're just so tiny and weak and useless, how can anybody love them?)

Hates: Zombies, vampires, golems, ghosts, angels, demons, being confused, getting hit, weaklings (more like they sadden her), mean people.

Side note:
You can make her angry by attacking the primary user or another member of the team. She's fine with being attacked, so long as you don't land a hit. Then she gets angry. It's pretty much the only way to set her off. She might get angry, but not in the way people do. It's like a mix of the cold shoulder, pouting, and a disagreeable computer (a critical error has occurred, Program x has shut down... you are program X). Anyway, you can make her as angry as you want, but her attack pattern will not change. The code prevents her from doing frenzied attacks.
